PET
AGREEMENT
The
following rules apply to all residents with pets (cats or dogs):
- Tenants are allowed one (1) pet. The pet must weigh under 30 pounds
at full growth. There will be a $10.00 per month charge for each dog and
cat.
- Grandfather provision. If
tenant currently has two pets this is fine. However, if one pet dies it
cannot be replaced. Likewise, if a tenant currently has a pet over 30 pounds
this is fine but cannot be replaced by a pet over 30 pounds.
No tenant may have three or more pets.
- Animals must be on the premises of the Tenant or when off premises,
must be on a leash and under the control of the owner, the owner’s agent
or some member of the tenant’s family.
- Pets are not to be tied out for more than one (1) hour. No pet may
be left out while you are away from home or left outside overnight.
- Dogs and cats are not permitted to run loose in the community.
- Dogs must be registered, have current rabies and distemper
inoculations and be micro chipped. Cats must have current rabies and
distemper inoculations and be micro chipped. Proof of registration,
inoculations and micro chipping must be in tenant files.
- Pet droppings are to be removed immediately and must not be allowed
to accumulate.
- Pets and their owners are subject to the animal control laws of the
City, County and State in which the Community is located.
- No doghouses, cages, pens, kennels or dog runs are permitted
outside. Animals are not permitted to be caged or penned outside.
- Tenants are not permitted to leave food for animals outside.
- Tenant agrees to remove the pet from the premises if at any time
management deems it advisable.
- The Community Manager must approve all pets, in advance. Management
reserves the right to turn down breeds of dogs, which are mean or dangerous
in the opinion of management, or exceeds the size at full growth.
- Any pet not micro chipped will be turned over to the proper
authorities.
- Any animal found wondering within the community will be captured and
turned over to the proper authorities.

hereby agrees to said rules without exception.
